Midnight Radio: Season 2, Episode 2

  • July 15 - 17, 2010

Midnight Radio

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Episode 2 is brand spankin’ new and jam-packed with comedy, music, and amazing feats of hand-eye coordination.

For the newbies, Midnight Radio is a live radio show that’s not really on the radio. Or at midnight. Mix one part SNL with one part A Prairie Home Companion, add pinches of The Daily Show and Pee Wee’s Playhouse, and you’ve got Midnight Radio!

Bricolage’s Midnight Radio program is a long-time fan favorite that takes the form of a classic 1940s radio broadcast complete with commercial parodies, musical underscoring, and live Foley sound effects.

Over eight seasons, Midnight Radio episodes have ranged from zany, original variety shows to new adaptations of classics like It’s a Wonderful Life and War of the Worlds.

At Midnight Radio, attendees are cast as the live studio audience. Participants can watch the spectacle of the sounds being brought to life or simply shut their eyes and build the look of the show in their own imaginations.
