The Duquesne Club, Pittsburgh’s premiere private social club, approached Bricolage in 2019 to create an immersive experience to support their fundraiser benefiting The United Way of Southwestern PA.
Set inside the hallowed halls of the club’s historic home, our creative team researched the club’s incredible history, as well as its storied membership, devising an adventure through time where participants hustled pool with Buffalo Bill in the Billiard Room, made whipped cream with legendary Chef P. Lacroix in the kitchen, strategized military tactics with General Sherman in the Founders Room, helped to close a business deal between B.F. Jones and Robert Pitcairn in the Carnegie Board Room, and stargazed with Samuel Pierpont Langley in the Patio.
This time traveling adventure returned to the club again in 2022, for a refreshed version set in the roaring 20’s. In 2024 the Women of The Club again commissioned Bricolage to support their fundraiser benefiting The Neighborhood Academy, with a special Midnight Radio performance celebrating the club’s 150 year history. Stay tuned for more details and images from that production set to mount this spring.
