Downtown Heroes Block Party
On Saturday June 25, Bricolage is partnering with the ToonSeum, August Wilson Center, VisitPittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership to present the Downtown Heroes Block Party. The event will feature a variety of superhero-themed activities for all ages, including sound effects workshops, a ToonSeum exhibit, and of course, Midnight Radio!
But What is Midnight Radio?
Don't be fooled by the title; Midnight Radio isn't on the radio - it's a live theatrical production performed by some of Pittsburgh's best theater artists in our intimate space downtown. The series is presented in monthly episodes, each with a different theme and a rotating cast of characters. Every episode features radio plays with live-created sound effects, plus commercial parodies, Fake Breaking News, gameshows, and other hilarious segments. Think Prairie Home Companion meets Saturday Night Live and a whole lot of Red Bull!
